The 2022+ Toyota Tundra Hybrid (i-FORCE MAX) places the 12V battery under the rear seat, which makes adding lights, compressors, winches, radios, or a power distribution system a lot more complicated than on non-hybrid trucks.

This kit gives you the core materials to run clean, properly protected power and ground from the rear battery area to under the hood (or wherever you need it). It’s designed for experienced DIY installers who want quality components without the high cost of a fully pre-terminated vehicle-specific system.

What’s Included:

  • 25 ft of 4-gauge copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire – red (positive)
  • 25 ft of 4-gauge copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire – black (ground)
  • Bus bars for clean power and ground distribution
  • Mounting hardware
  • Terminal making kit: heavy-duty battery terminal crimp tool, terminals, and adhesive-lined heat shrink
  • 60-amp circuit breaker

Key Features:

  • Specifically useful for the Hybrid Tundra’s rear battery location
  • 4-gauge CCA wire provides a good balance of current capacity, flexibility, and cost for accessory loads
  • Includes the tools and materials to make professional crimped and heat-shrunk connections
  • 60A circuit breaker for circuit protection
  • Expandable foundation for lighting, air systems, radios, inverters, and other accessories

Important Notes:

  • This is a components kit. It does not include pre-terminated cables, vehicle-specific pass-through grommets, or a complete under-hood mounting plate. You will need to plan and execute your own routing (many owners use factory channels or sealed pass-throughs).
  • Recommended for experienced DIY installers comfortable with high-current wiring, crimping, and basic vehicle electrical work.
  • Proper fusing/protection and routing are critical for safety. Always disconnect the battery and follow safe hybrid-vehicle practices during installation.
  • Copper-clad aluminum (CCA) is lighter and more affordable than pure copper while still being suitable for this type of accessory run. Size your loads accordingly.

Suggested Uses:

  • Power distribution under the hood for lights, compressors, and accessories
  • Cleaner wiring foundation before adding a switch panel or power management system
  • Weekend project for owners building a serious overland or off-road electrical setup
